Filmed on location in Charleston, South Carolina; it was originally supposed to be filmed in Wilmington, North Carolina.
I never stopped
Like you, I’ve been on a binge watching binge on Nexflix and Prime. I’ve watched everything under the sun. This had just come out on Netflix and I started watching it.
It’s a fun and enjoyable show
The casting is exceptional…every actor hits it out of the park. The story moves at an engaging pace until the end, but in retrospect, each episode could stand alone…in itself. It’s a remarkable achievement and kudos to the writers.
The genre is hard to categorize
It’s rated M, but there’s no nudity or blood. I don’t see any reason why a 13-year-old wouldn’t watch it. It’s funny, has lots of mini-adventures, lots of mishaps, romance, shipwrecks, storms, fires, gunshots, barrels, prison, boys saving girls, girls saving boys, parents being devils, parents being angels.
Perfect for quarantine
