Helen embarks on a passionate affair with a man who has no idea what her secret identity is. Honestly, I would stop watching/listening to Ben Whishaw reading a restaurant menu or the minutes of a local council meeting, so I would always watch this. There are some great supporting performances in Black Doves and for those alone, and if you like your dark humor then this is a series you need to see. Come on Lily Hyland as Williams and Gabrielle Creevy as Eleanor are mesmerizing in this play of my two favorite characters. As for Catherine Hunter as Lennie Lines, let’s just say her performance is terrific. Add to all that some gorgeous sets and theatrical production and this is an absolute winner for me.
