This animated anthology series presents original stories set in the worlds of iconic video games. Video games have made a huge leap forward onto the screen, and we’re celebrating the genre by taking a closer look at over 50 video game adaptations into films and shows. Clive Standen reprises his voice role as Demetrius Titus, the protagonist of the video game Space Marine 2. Expanding the video game medium with talented fan-made content on a budget that’s unlimited seems amazing, doesn’t it?
Well, ladies and gentlemen, it is!
The first 8 episodes were awesome, and each one encapsulated the universe they chose. I’ve seen critics say they didn’t take any risks with the show. Have you seen the Pac-Man episode? Because I did, and it seems to me that they took a hell of a chance there.

The presentation is gorgeous, every graphic style looks well chosen and controlled (as we would expect from a love death and a robot team), it’s good. omen for the future, let’s hope it allows the video game medium to expand even further. It’s full of Easter eggs without the presentation pointing me in the direction of shouting out every detail. And in the world we live in, this is already incredible.

This is the first time that people who truly love the game took the opportunity to expand the medium and please us, the fans. But the beauty of it is that even people who have never played the games can enjoy, understand and empathize with the characters, and this feels like a great challenge that they overcame to me. The show has too many obvious flaws, some episodes weren’t as great as others (I’m looking at you in a new world). Yes, some episodes were short, yes, some jokes were a little unclear, I never said it was perfect, just that it was awesome..
