A live-action adaptation of Disney’s 1937 animated film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. See all the key announcements and updates from D23 2024: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. Following comments from Peter Dinklage claiming that the original film portrayed dwarves in a negative light, Disney announced on January 25, 2022 that they would approach the characters differently while consulting with members of the dwarven community. Many fans of the original, including Dylan Postl, pointed out that many of Dinklage’s remarks were incorrect. On the one hand, he stated that dwarves do not live in a cave.
