After hearing all the hype and seeing that it’s one of the most watched shows in the world, I finally found the time to watch Squid Game. I have to admit, I had a great time watching it and enjoyed the entire season. It’s about hundreds of participants (all of whom are down on their luck and need money) who are invited to play children’s games to win a lot of money, 45.6 billion won (about $33 million). The only thing is that these children’s games are now deadly, and all the money is won by the last participant to get pregnant. It will draw you into its world and before you know it, you’ll be hooked. It’s a thriller with lots of twists and turns and a lot of violence. It’s a show that will stay with you long after you’ve watched it. I know it’s been renewed for more seasons, so I hope they manage to keep the same magic that was in the first season. “One Hundred Years of Solitude” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres of the month.
