The Jackal is an elusive assassin who makes his living performing high-paying hits. He soon meets his match in the form of a tenacious British intelligence officer who tracks him down on a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase across Europe..
The Jackal is seen driving a white Alfa Romeo Spider
In The Day of the Jackal (1973) The Jackal also drives a white Alfa Romeo, albeit an earlier model. Mentioned in Graham Norton and guests: Denzel Washington/Paul Mescal/Saoirse Ronan/Eddie Redmayne/Blossoms (2024).
The cast delivers some truly great performances
The story is solid, with twists and turns that keep you engaged, and the cinematography captures the eerie atmosphere perfectly. However, I have to say that Ms.
Lynch’s performance was rather unimpressive
Her performance felt very one-dimensional, which unfortunately stood out in a cast full of strong, nuanced portrayals. It’s not about race – I can think of several brilliant black actresses who could have brought more depth and complexity to the role.
It’s definitely not perfect, but it’s worth watching
It’s just that her performance didn’t live up to the quality of the show as a whole, which was disappointing. Still, the show is worth watching for its story and the remarkable performances from other cast members.
